The sounds recorded that night were supposedly 'unidentifiable animal vocalizations.' Everyone assumes alien ship. But what if it was something genuinely unknown that lives in those woods?

Right, honest answer: don't bother with the cheap night vision monoculars. I bought a thirty-five quid one off Amazon that was about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
The methodology side is critical and you're right that most cryptozoology is anecdotal. Good researchers combine field observation with archival research, folklore analysis, habitat studies, and...

Has anyone actually seen a proper wildcat in Britain? The problem is distinguishing them from feral domestics that have gone a bit wild. Hybridisation is rife up there.

Before assuming attachment, consider: have you been more stressed since August? Your subconscious can create these experiences if you're primed to look for them.

Not sure if this is the right forum but I'm still feeling a bit shaken up and need to write it down while it's fresh.
For UAP work specifically, you want high-magnification binoculars (at least 10x50) paired with a decent compact camera that shoots 4K. The Nikon Coolpix series is reliable in terrible weather.

The Indigenous knowledge aspect is really important and often overlooked. There are places that cultures have marked as spiritually significant for centuries.
Right, I've invested about £200 in what's supposedly a decent EMF detector - the SB7 Spirit Box knockoff from that site everyone recommends - and I took it out to Pendle Hill last weekend for a...
Having read the original incident reports, the metallic nature of what they saw really does rule out cryptid.

I'm looking to upgrade my ghost hunting kit without spending a fortune. Current setup is basically a Poundland torch and my mobile phone camera, which... isn't ideal.
I'm looking to set up a proper observation station in the Scottish Highlands - been getting consistent sightings near Glencoe and I want to document them properly.
Right, so I've been reading into this for years and I'm genuinely puzzled. Everyone bangs on about the ABCs (Alien Big Cats) on Bodmin and Exmoor, fair enough, but what about the actual native...
I've actually done some investigations near the old Borley site in Suffolk. Interesting area but nothing conclusive. The problem with Borley as a model is that it's become mythologised.

what counts as actual evidence? Honestly? Physical evidence that can be examined (hair samples, scat, skeletal material). Photographic/video evidence that can be analysed and verified.
