CriticalThinker_Tom: The fascinating thing to me isn't whether Borley was actually haunted, but how a moderately spooky old house became the haunted house of Britain through sheer media saturation...

OpenmindedOscar: Could be Starlink, could be military aircraft, could be something we don't have good explanations for.

You're mixing cryptozoology with actual zoology. One is evidence-based. The other relies on eyewitness accounts. The Coelacanth was known from fossils, which gave scientists a reason to look.

The intelligent interaction angle is really important. Most environmental phenomena (drafts, noises, temperature variations) don't respond to human attention.

They're talked about constantly in pagan and occult circles. Just not on mainstream paranormal forums.
EssexLocal: Grew up near there. My nan used to say the old workers talked about weird stuff, but honestly it was just the kind of stories you tell about any old building.

If you're based in London, there's a specialist shop in Camden that stocks FLIR units. Might be worth visiting in person to test the app integration on your specific phone before buying.

DriveTime_Dave: How fast were you going? I ask because at speed, perspective gets weird. A normal-sized bird can look massive if it's suddenly right in front of your windscreen.

LogicalMind_Sarah: "Why release them at all if it's just 'some unexplained lights'?" Because FOIA requests forced them to? Because keeping it classified forever looks more suspicious?
Even without the video, the description ('straight lines, sudden stops, rapid acceleration') suggests drone or misidentified aircraft.

ParanormalBelieve: Just because Price was a bit dodgy doesn't mean nothing happened. Lots of independent witnesses reported strange things before he got there.

MoorlandMysteries: Actually, there have been reports of large bird-like creatures on Bodmin for years. The "Bodmin Beast" folklore mentions winged creatures as well as the cat-like animal.

Thermal imaging is fun but massively oversold in paranormal investigation. You'll spend £300 and get 90% false positives (radiators, pipes, drafts, body heat from previous visitors).

UFOTrue_Believer: The government wouldn't declassify those files unless they were trying to tell us something, though. Why release them at all if it's just "some unexplained lights"?
Please post this in 'Haunted Locations' as well - document your flat as a potential hotspot. If you're experiencing genuine activity, others in the building might be too.

Can't see any video attached to your post. Did you forget to upload it? Or are you testing us? Either way, without the actual footage, we can't analyze anything. Reupload and we'll take a look.

Personally, I'd suggest saving another £100-150 and going for the FLIR E4. It's older (discontinued), so you can find them refurbished for around £400.

A mate sent me this video taken by tourists at Loch Ness about four weeks ago (October 28th). It's blurry (as they always are), but the object moves in a way that's... unusual.
CriticalEye_Jane: Starlink. Honestly, probably Starlink. It fits every detail - the formation, the fading, the impossibly smooth movement, the silent operation.

The real test: Do a blind review. Record yourself saying random words, mix them into white noise at the same volume level as your EVP session, then try to identify them.
