I'd be interested in which committees are involved. Defense, aviation, or something else? The department involved would tell you whether they're treating this seriously or just dotting procedural i's.
The Rendlesham files are almost certainly going to be underwhelming. Governments don't release information when it genuinely threatens national security narratives.

Have you considered just having an electrician check your flat? Honestly, 90% of people who think they're haunted just have electrical problems.

Just spotted this on the MoD website - they're re-releasing some of the Rendlesham Forest files in December with previously redacted sections.
I've tested both extensively. Phone apps pick up basically everything - they're omnidirectional and unshielded. The Mel-Meter is narrower in range but much more accurate for specific frequencies.
They're preparing infrastructure for acknowledging something without actually admitting anything This is actually brilliant analysis.
Please actually investigate this properly if you're interested. Track dates, times, locations, witness descriptions.

You're probably reading too much into bureaucratic shuffling. Parliament is always having committee meetings about various things.
Have you looked at the BFRO database? Pretty sure they've got a UK section now. Would be a good starting point for your historical data.

The paranormal is genuinely out there, but you're right that constant exposure can be unhealthy. Try focusing on the investigative and scientific side of things rather than the scary stuff?
