I've got a mate who works in wildlife management in Cornwall and he reckons there might actually be a small population of feral cats (likely descended from escaped pets) living in remote areas.
This is lovely. Have you considered that your nan might have seen something genuinely inexplicable, without it being a ghost or paranormal entity?

The Notting Hill area has some genuinely active paranormal hotspots. That part of London's got centuries of layered history. Be respectful but thorough.

Nothing wrong with taking a step back. This community is great but it can become an echo chamber where everything is mysterious and threatening.

This is actually the scariest version of the cover-up because it means they're moving from active denial to controlled information management.
The thing about EMF readings is that elevated readings don't necessarily mean ghosts. Faulty wiring, electrical substations, power lines, mobile masts - all of these create EMF spikes that get...

The Cairngorms thing is real though. I've got contacts in the Aviemore hiking community and they'll mention "unusual encounters" after a few pints.

I think this is a brilliant idea from a research perspective. You could actually establish baseline readings and do proper investigations without the biases associated with the original building's...

I've been listening to the "Strange Frequencies" podcast (there's a UK-based host doing proper investigative work) for about three months now, and it's genuinely refreshing compared to most...
Lovely idea but you're applying human zoological frameworks to creatures that, frankly, we don't have confirmed existence for yet.

Phone apps are rubbish, mate. They're measuring ambient electromagnetic radiation broadly, but they're not calibrated and they're affected by your phone's own electronics.

I've seen loads of ghost hunters using those cheap EMF apps on their mobiles (the ones that cost 99p), and I'm wondering whether they're actually detecting anything real or if it's all just...
Basements and top floors are classic poltergeist zones - basements because they're closest to the earth (higher paranormal conductivity) and top floors because energy rises.

I've been into the paranormal scene for about 8 years now, but lately I'm finding it absolutely draining.
