Mate, I've been to Borley field about six times since 2015. It's the most boring paranormal location in the UK, honestly. Just a field with a sad little visitors sign.
CAT S60 smartphone has built-in thermal. Bit pricey upfront (£500+) but if you're into this long-term it pays for itself. Doubles as a regular phone too.
I've had something similar though not after any specific documentary, just generally on the Central line between Shepherd's Bush and Notting Hill Gate.
