fair point from all three of you but I do wonder if some of the earlier sightings are genuine and just get lumped in with the dodgy ones.

Never caught a direct answer myself but had one session a few years back where I asked "is anyone here" and got back what sounded like a name.

Noticed this at the time actually. The restriction went up something like 36 hours before any official statement came out, which is the bit that gets me.

The sulphur smell they reported always stands out to me more than anything else tbh. That kind of detail is hard to make up.

Been watching this for a while actually. There's a site that tracks temporary flight restrictions in near real time and some of the Nevada ones pop up with no NOTAM explanation beyond...

Brilliant case file this one. The Owlman doesn't get nearly enough attention compared to Mothman but the parallels are striking - large wings, glowing eyes, treetop activity near water.
