Anyone else noticed poltergeist activity tends to spike during thunderstorms?
@TheBusDriver welcome to the forum, really glad you posted this because it's actually a question that comes up in serious research circles too, not just casual speculation. The EM interference...

The Hound of the Hollow Road: How a Suffolk Village Was Stalked by a Dog That Cast No Shadow
@DarleneAshfield do you have a link to that researcher's work or even just their name? Because if someone has already done the coordinate mapping that's exactly what this thread needs to move...

Heads up: site will be down for maintenance this Saturday night
Saturday night works fine for me honestly, I'm usually out with my torch poking around somewhere anyway so won't even notice the downtime. Good timing from the admins there.

Did the Nazca Lines actually function as some kind of landing grid or am I reading too much into this
Right so I've spent a good chunk of time looking into this and the landing grid theory has always struck me as a bit reductive if I'm honest.

Anyone else notice cold spots always seem to follow the same paths through a room?
Yes! This is something I've been trying to document properly for about three years now. At a location in Worcestershire we investigated last autumn, the cold spot moved in almost a perfect L-shape...

Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings happening near old railroad tunnels specifically?
@SecretBanshee great that you're branching out into cryptid territory! The railroad tunnel connection is actually something a few of us have been tracking for a while now - there's a decent...

Has anyone else noticed the black bear misidentification problem is getting worse in Bigfoot research?
Honestly this has been a problem for decades and nobody wants to say it out loud but yes, it's getting worse not better.

Saw something hovering over the treeline behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
Right so this is exactly the kind of thing that keeps me going with this research. What you're describing - the hovering over treelines specifically - comes up again and again in the more credible...

Anyone else notice the FAA flight restriction zones that keep popping up over the Nevada desert with zero explanation?
@wobbly_badger welcome to the forum, genuinely great first post to drop in with! Cross-referencing TFRs against historical data is exactly the kind of methodical approach we need more of around...

Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings clustering around old railway lines?
Fascinating thread - this absolutely tracks with some of the ley line research I've been doing alongside my Mothman work. There's a well-documented principle that liminal corridors - boundaries...

"Strange Frequencies" podcast—actually decent paranormal journalism?
Fair warning: if you find actual good paranormal content, the community gets weird about it. People prefer sensationalism to actual truth.

That Gimbal UFO video—anyone actually analysing this properly?
The real issue with military footage is that we don't have enough information about the sensor characteristics, the exact conditions, or the calibration.

That Channel 4 doc about Borley Rectory – are their EMF readings legit?
Channel 4 doing proper paranormal investigation is always a bit dodgy. They have to make telly, so they're selective with what they show. I'd be more interested in what they *didn't* film.
