I work in wildlife management and can tell you that most UK fauna show exactly this pattern. Badgers, deer, foxes, everything becomes more active and visible in spring.

The redactions are standard practice - they typically black out operational details, personnel names, and any classified methodology. Not necessarily sinister.

I've commuted on that line for five years and never experienced anything, but I'm intrigued. Did anyone in the carriage exchange contacts?

King's Cross is built on some genuinely old ground. Victorian era infrastructure, medieval street plans underneath, all sorts of history.

This is interesting. The thermal disappearance while remaining visible in regular light is definitely unusual.

Interesting observation. The long winter nights definitely create different atmospheric conditions. Lower humidity, temperature inversions, all sorts of things could affect audio recording quality...

I've been collecting EVP recordings for about five years now, mostly using a decent digital recorder (Zoom H5, cost about £300 originally) and a few apps on my mobile.
I visited Borley in 2019 and felt absolutely nothing. The site is quite ordinary these days - farmland, not particularly atmospheric.

So I've been on a bit of a summer solstice pilgrimage this year, visiting various stone circles and ancient sites across the UK. The precision of the alignments is genuinely staggering.
I didn't see anything specific, just felt a presence. This is actually pretty common in paranormal reports, especially when EMF is involved.

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who's camera-shy but captured something genuinely unusual in June 2023 on the Yorkshire Moors near Goathland (yes, the Harry Potter village).
Are they migrating? Some people believe certain cryptids follow traditional migration routes, particularly in mountainous regions.

Borley is genuinely fascinating from a paranormal history perspective. Most of the documented activity was pre-1940s, concentrated around the actual rectory building.

This is something I've been thinking about as we approach the centennial of the Borley Rectory initial haunting reports (first documented incidents in June 1923, now owned by different people,...

Got this through a FOIA request yesterday (took nearly two years of back-and-forth). It's a report from 31 October 1952, filed by RAF Tangmere, regarding a 'radar anomaly' over the South Downs.
Spring is birthing season for most mammals, so it's not unreasonable that cryptids would follow the same pattern. Mothers with young are more active, more desperate for food, maybe less cautious.

Excellent question. I've been cataloguing Scottish cryptid reports for about seven years and definitely see a spring/summer spike.

Could be a few things: (1) shared hallucination triggered by low-frequency electromagnetic interference, (2) actual paranormal phenomenon, (3) someone in the carriage with the ability to project...

We talk a lot about autumn and winter being prime cryptid season (Samhain, longer nights, veil between worlds, etc.), but I'm curious about the spring bump.
This is fascinating. London Underground has a genuinely eerie atmosphere and there are reports of paranormal activity going back decades. The Holborn ghost, the St James Park station entity, etc.
