Rendlesham's fascinating because it sits on that weird intersection of UFO reports and cryptid reports.

So I've been watching the newer documentaries about Skinwalker Ranch - the property in Utah that supposedly has all sorts of paranormal activity, UFO sightings, cryptid encounters, the lot.
Marcus Webb is quality. Saw him speak at the paranormal convention in Manchester last year. The guy's genuinely interested in folklore rather than just chasing views.

This is almost certainly sleep paralysis or night terrors combined with your subconscious creating a narrative around something else.

I think the gap between the US military report and the MoD response actually makes sense. The MoD wouldn't have jurisdiction over a US military base in the UK - they'd need to go through...
One thing nobody mentions - check what big cats actually sound like. Get some recordings, listen to them at night when you're out there.
One woman on the second floor swears the place is haunted Rather than jumping to ghosts, I'd actually document this properly.

Not strictly Bigfoot territory, I know, but Rendlesham's been on my mind lately. For anyone who doesn't know the location: it's this massive forest on the Suffolk-Norfolk border that had a famous...
The cat behaviour is actually really significant. Animals absolutely detect presences that we can't, and if your cat's avoiding you during these episodes, that suggests something's genuinely there...

Honestly mate, start with footcasting if you find any prints. Plaster casts are harder to dismiss than blurry photos.
Pendle Hill is brilliant. Fair warning though - it gets proper packed with tourists even in winter, and the locals aren't always chuffed about paranormal investigation types.

Fourteen inch footprints could be a large deer with unusual gait, or possibly a human with massive feet - some people do have genuinely unusual proportions.

I'm doing the London Underground thing - there are supposedly phantom stations and odd reports from the deep tunnels.

The Cairngorms have a seriously weird reputation among people who know them. There's loads of old folklore about something large moving through those mountains.

Stellarium tip is gold. Also use FlightRadar24 on your mobile to track aircraft - you'd be amazed how many 'UFO' reports are just unusual flight paths or military jets.

Folklore often has kernels of truth. There probably is a substantial wild dog population in East Anglia, which explains the frequency.
Has anyone actually gone to the National Archives to see the full, unredacted versions? I know some of the heavily censored documents have cleaner versions available if you request them in person.
This might be completely daft, but I was hiking in the Cairngorms area (Speyside way, end of October) and found what looked like large primate prints pressed into mud near a loch.
Apologies if this is repetitive - I know sleep paralysis is discussed a lot on paranormal forums - but I'm genuinely struggling to determine if what's been happening to me for the past month is...
