I'd bet money it's mostly the first thing - increased reporting confidence. But I'm not going to dismiss the second possibility entirely.

This is brilliant, thanks. I've been wanting to get into this properly but wasn't sure what I actually needed.
Right, I've been asked this question about five times in the past month so I'm going to write it all out in one place.
I've got a trifield meter and honestly, it's brilliant but it's also prone to false positives if you're not careful.
Right, so Channel 4 screened a new documentary about Borley Rectory last Friday night and they used some kit I wasn't familiar with.
Maybe the increased reports are generating some kind of 'attention energy' that's attracting more activity? Sounds mad but stranger things have been theorised. Actually doesn't sound mad.

I reckon they're not covering up an alien spacecraft (though maybe they are). I reckon they're covering up the fact that they had no idea what it was Exactly.

Definitely more people willing to report things. I've had four separate conversations with mates in the past month who've said 'I saw something weird years ago but never said anything because I'd...

Right, I've noticed something in the past three months since all those government UAP disclosures and media coverage ramped up. Paranormal reports are absolutely everywhere.

So we all know the Rendlesham Forest incident happened in December 1980, RAF personnel witnessed something genuinely unexplained, and the British government has been deliberately cagey about...
Solid review. I'm in the middle of this book now and your 7/10 seems about right. It's good enough that I want to keep reading but not mind-blowing.
They'll probably add some dodgy piano score and cut to commercial right at the exciting bit. Absolutely will. That's how they make people keep watching. But honestly, exposure is exposure.
Could call it something like 'Media Monitoring' or 'Paranormal in the News'? Love the idea but slightly worried it'll turn into a dogpile of people sharing every single UFO-related TikTok that...

I've seen that video. Pretty sure I tracked down the person who filmed it - they're an amateur filmmaker from Hertfordshire, quite talented actually.
