Can we get a media monitoring thread or section?

Hi mods, been on Quirk Reports for about three years now and I've noticed we're getting more mainstream media coverage of paranormal stuff than ever before. BBC, Channel 4, even the broadsheets are covering UAP and cryptid sightings now.

Would it be possible to create a dedicated thread or even a section where people can share relevant media coverage - documentaries, news articles, podcasts etc. - so we can discuss them together? Currently people are posting these things in General Chat and it gets a bit scattered. A single place to collate media reactions would help us keep track of how the narrative is changing in the mainstream.

Could call it something like 'Media Monitoring' or 'Paranormal in the News'? Just a thought. The forums are getting busier and better organisation would help.

Good shout. We do get a lot of 'did you see that thing on telly' posts that could definitely be consolidated. I'd use that section. Maybe include a rule that people should include a link and a brief summary so people know what they're looking at before clicking?

Agree completely. The site's grown loads in the past year and some better organisation would help. We could even set up an auto-moderator thing to tag posts with the media outlet? Like [BBC], [Guardian], [Channel 4] etc. Would make it easy to search later.

I'm not a mod but I think this is a solid suggestion. Worth posting in the official suggestions thread if there isn't one already. The moderation team are usually pretty responsive.
