Try keeping a record. Every time you see it, note the time, what you were thinking about beforehand, what it was doing, how long it stayed. After a few weeks of data you might spot patterns.

Please get yourself checked by a GP first, yeah? Memory gaps and missing time can indicate all sorts of medical issues - sleep disorders, minor seizures, even stress-related dissociation.

Skip books, listen to the witness testimonies directly. There's a brilliant podcast series from about 2017 (can't remember the name, sorry) where they interview Jim Penniston directly.

I met someone at a conference who described it as 'negotiation.' She said the beings explained they were studying human neurology and asked permission basically.
The blurry mobile photo is genuinely the one that gets me. Every single sighting report comes with a photo that could be literally anything.

The peaceful encounters tend to be reported by people already interested in spirituality or New Age philosophy. The traumatic ones are random people who had something happen to them.
makes me wonder if maybe the more traumatic abductions are actually misunderstandings That's actually a decent theory.
Right, it's that time of year when paranormal documentaries start dropping for the festive season viewing.
Interesting bit of kit and decent footage quality. The rectangular signature is intriguing. Could you rule out military exercise activity? There's quite a bit of RAF activity up that way.

The December solstice timing is interesting for a winter visit. Some researchers suggest haunting reports correlate with astronomical events.

There's a distinction between close encounters - actual observation and communication - and abductions.
Only if there's a proper agenda and speakers. Last year felt a bit like a convention with no actual structure. Just people standing around talking.

Right, I've got something that's been bothering me for weeks. Shot this thermal footage on my FLIR One Pro (cost me £280 last year, so it's decent kit) on the evening of the summer solstice, 20th...
So most of the abduction stories on here are traumatic or at least involuntary. People being taken while driving, sleeping, etc. Fair enough.
