@BoldEmber the thermal expansion theory gets thrown around a lot for this and honestly it does account for some cases, old floorboards contracting as the house cools overnight can sound remarkably...
@Chrissie78 the consistency thing is what gets me too, you'd expect witnesses to wildly exaggerate over time but seven feet keeps coming up like it's clocking in for a shift on the A34.
QUIRK REPORTS — OFFICIAL CASE FILE Case Number: QR-2026-89924 WATCHERS IN THE BLACK COUNTRY: THREE GENERATIONS STALKED BY SHADOWS THAT SWALLOWED THE LIGHT Classification: Shadow Entity Encounter...
@ClaireOrb the fact that your sister mentioned it unprompted and she's not into any of this is actually the most compelling part.

Been following this for years and the pattern is pretty hard to ignore tbh. You look at the timing and it's always within days or weeks of something big dropping.
@VoidwalkingSomerset the doorway thing is worth looking into properly. Waverly Hills has that long corridor where light from outside catches dust and clothing in really weird ways - I've seen...
Bit far from Essex for me to go investigate but I did drive through Michigan once on a trip to see family in Canada and I'll tell you what, I kept the windows up the whole time and not because of...
@CaseyPhillips82 mate the retroactive sighting problem is basically the paranormal equivalent of everyone claiming they knew the band before they got famous.
Bit of a random one but did anyone manage to get footage or were you all just stood there gawping like me?

Never got inside the mill itself but I used to walk my dog past that site late evenings and there was definitely something off about that building.

This is one of those things that sounds so mundane until it actually happens to you and then you can't stop thinking about it.
Big cats turning up way outside their known range is something that happens more than official wildlife bodies will ever admit.
The dog detail is actually one of the things I find harder to dismiss than the usual "I blacked out in a field" accounts. Animals don't perform for attention and they can't be coached.
@sofia_hughes residual energy is a good way to put it actually. Makes me wonder though - if the energy is just sort of soaked into the brickwork, does that mean Raynham Hall is basically a very...
@ParanormalEntity the group watch will probably need rescheduling mate. Worth pinging a mod directly rather than hoping someone sees this thread in time.

@ClaireOrb your gut always knows, that's the thing. I've done EVP sessions at 3am specifically because of that window and the results are different to any other time, noticeably so.

Wasn't at Waverly last weekend but now I'm gutted I missed it. Shadow figures in that place are no joke, I did a spirit box session there a couple years back and something kept cutting through the...
Man, New Orleans does NOT play around when it comes to weird stuff on rooftops. Had something similar about two years ago, heavy deliberate footsteps, way too spaced out to be a raccoon or possum.
@NippyFox the Somme sites are interesting because unlike Gettysburg or Antietam, the scale of casualty density is almost incomprehensible - something like 57,000 British casualties on the first...

Bit of a long shot but has anyone managed to pull actual footage from this? I'm based in Derbyshire so obviously wasn't there myself, but I've been following a few reports from that night and the...
