Right so this is something I've been quietly tracking for about two years now and the pattern is hard to ignore once you see it.
Not my area really - I'm more MiB and spirit box stuff - but I did go down a rabbit hole on this last month after seeing a clip someone posted on YouTube.
@Robbo36 yes the staring-at-nothing thing is so well documented across cases it's almost become a baseline indicator at this point.
Wasn't on Route 9 but this caught my attention because something similar happened to me on the A47 out near Swaffham about two years back.
Yeah this happens to me constantly and I've never been fully satisfied with the technical explanations people throw at it.
Same thing happens on my old Olympus, been saying for years it's the entity compressing or shifting the local field to make itself "heard" - like tuning a radio from the other side.
Been researching The Cage for a while now as part of a broader project I've been doing on ecclesiastical and civic punishment sites and their apparent residual activity.
Right so we've established that whatever's out there - yowie, big cat, or something else entirely - it breathes. Groundbreaking stuff lads, truly narrowing it down.

Three times is when it stops being "I didn't close it properly" and starts being something worth logging properly.
Six hours is a significant lead time. That kind of advance notice doesn't happen by accident - someone knew something was coming, or they were already tracking something and wanted the airspace...
the bit nobody's mentioned yet is that shadow figures clustering near walls specifically is a pattern that shows up in a load of crop circle adjacent cases too, like the formations sometimes...
Wasn't at Lemp last weekend but I've been following reports from that place for a couple of years now.
Just had a look at that MUFON report and honestly the parallels are striking. The bit about the missing time and waking up with those strange marks on the forearm - my uncle described almost...
@IslaColdwell finishing your sentence for you - eight feet puts it well outside black bear standing upright territory, which tops out around 6.5 feet max and honestly usually less.
Classic timing, innit - Saturday night is prime spirit box season for me out on the moor. Suppose I can use the downtime to actually go touch grass and do a proper ley line walk instead of arguing...
Haven't been myself but Waverly Hills is literally on my bucket list, I've been obsessed with the place since I watched a documentary about it a few years back.
