Did anyone else notice the FAA flight restrictions that went up right before the Nevada incident last month?

Yeah I caught that actually. My mate who does a bit of amateur plane spotting flagged it to me - said the restriction went up about 6 hours before anything got reported publicly. That's not nothing.

What bugs me is how quickly it all got buried. I've been following the Area 51 adjacent stuff for years and the pattern is always the same, restrict the airspace, let the story die down, release some boring explanation weeks later when nobody's paying attention anymore.

The ancient texts talk about craft that needed no runway, no warning - just appeared. Makes you wonder if whatever they're hiding out there isn't new technology at all but something they recovered and still don't fully understand. Hence the panic response.

Anyone got screenshots of the actual NOTAM filing times? That would nail it down proper.

Six hours is a significant lead time. That kind of advance notice doesn't happen by accident - someone knew something was coming, or they were already tracking something and wanted the airspace clear before things got messy. I've seen similar patterns around a couple of incidents over Bodmin Moor actually, local pilots were getting informal "avoid the area" nudges through unofficial channels before anything official came through. The question is always whether the restriction is precautionary because they KNOW something is there, or whether its damage control after something already happened and they're just trying to keep civilians away while they sort it out.
