Three times is when it stops being "I didn't close it properly" and starts being something worth logging properly. Keep a note of exact times, which cabinets, whether any food or objects inside get moved - the pattern usually tells you more than the event itself.
Had something similar in my old flat in Norwich, turned out to be a pretty mundane pressure/temperature thing with the doors warping overnight. But three times in a week with no obvious physical explanation? Worth ruling out the boring stuff first obviously, but if you're already past that then yeah, classic low-level poltergeist behaviour, the kitchen is weirdly one of the most common spots for it too.
Anyone else noticed a correlation with stress levels in the household around the same period? Theres a pretty solid body of anecdotal evidence linking poltergeist upticks to emotional tension, especially in houses with teenagers. Not saying that applies here just worth considering.
