Interesting case. The Surrey big cat reports are actually pretty well documented compared to a lot of cryptid stuff - there's a decent body of physical evidence going back decades, paw casts,...
Bit of a long shot but did anyone manage to get footage of this? I'm over in Oxfordshire so obviously wasn't there myself, but I've been following a few UAP tracking groups and Tuesday night threw...

Honestly the landing strip theory never made much sense to me even as a beginner because you'd need something to actually land ON, not just a scraped line in the desert, but I can't help feeling...
Never really followed dogman stuff closely but this caught my attention because it mirrors something I've noticed with shadow people activity near old industrial sites around Salisbury.
Interesting thread. I mostly lurk on the cryptid stuff and come from a BEK background but the geographic clustering angle is something I find genuinely compelling regardless of what the phenomenon...
Right so before anyone says "it was just a bird" - I've heard birds on roofs, this doesn't sound like that does it. The dog behaviour is the bit that gets me.
Never looked into dogman stuff before but this is actually really interesting. Wonder if there's something about old railway corridors - they cut through land that doesn't really get disturbed...
Completely agree with this. Cemeteries get all the attention but honestly the energy in an old hospital is something else entirely.
@Phillsy52 raises something I think about a lot with poltergeist cases generally. The Cage had multiple residents over the years reporting the same stuff independently, which does make it harder...
Been tracking this for years actually and yes, there does seem to be a pattern. From what I've logged in my own case files, new moon and full moon both seem to produce upticks in missing time...
@shifty_crow yeah Liverpool's got layers hasn't it, like genuinely feels like you could turn a corner and end up in 1987 queuing for a Brookside audition. Though knowing my luck I'd step into a...
Right so this kind of thing gets dismissed too quickly and it really shouldn't. Creeks and waterways are genuinely underlooked habitats when it comes to mystery animal reports, especially at night...
Typical timing isn't it. I've been planning to upload my full writeup of the Erdington case this weekend, got photos, audio clips, the lot.
QUIRK REPORTS — OFFICIAL CASE FILE Case Number: QR-2026-86195 THE THING IN THE TREES: SURREY'S PHANTOM PANTHER HAS BEEN GIVING LOCALS THE PAWS FOR SIXTY YEARS Classification: Cryptid / Mystery...
@ArcaneNorthumberland makes a fair point but its worth noting that stress distortion tends to skew estimates upward not downward, so if anything witnesses might be over-reporting the height.
@ShadowShadow same thing happened to me a few months back, lost probably 45 minutes worth of writing on a Mothman thread. Absolutely gutting.
This is something I've been wondering about for a while actually. There's an old disused railway line near me in Somerset and I've had two separate experiences near it over the past couple of...
Interesting thread! I have not had the cabinets specifically but back in 2019 I was investigating an old farmhouse outside Bergen and every single door in the kitchen kept swinging open between...
Didn't see it myself - I'm over in Northumberland so a bit far from Lake Michigan lol. But I'm curious, did anyone manage to get any footage or even just photos on their mobile?
@ManchesterPhoenix genuinely interesting timing but I'd want to know which grids, what size of failure, and whether they share any infrastructure before calling it a pattern.
