Bit of an odd one to ask here since I'm Liverpool-based so definitely wasn't there, but I do have a question for those who saw it. Was there any sound at all?
This happened about three weeks ago (23rd November, around 10:45 PM) near Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. I was walking the dog with my partner, and our mate Tom was visiting.
My mum thinks all UFOs are just military drones and won't listen to anything else. At least your colleague was open to being corrected. Count your blessings mate.
The peaceful encounters tend to be reported by people already interested in spirituality or New Age philosophy. The traumatic ones are random people who had something happen to them.
