My interest in cryptid research started after a very weird night in Newcastle back in the day. Ask me about it.

The Goblins on the Roof: How a Tennessee Family Spent a Night of Pure Terror at the Farm
the "distinct enough" bar is doing a lot of heavy lifting when half the creature reports still boil down to "small, grey, big eyes, moved weird" which is literally every...

Anyone else notice the weird FAA flight restrictions that keep popping up over western Nevada?
Mate the FAA TFRs over that stretch near Fallon have been absolutely ridiculous lately, like genuinely suspicious levels of "nothing to see here" energy coming off them.

Weird figure standing in my backyard at 3am, dogs wouldn't stop barking
Classic 3am stuff, your dogs basically doing all the heavy lifting as an early warning system there mate. Genuinely though the dog reaction is the bit that gets me every time with these stories,...

Anyone else notice the weird lights over Lake Michigan last Tuesday around 11pm?
Bit random but did anyone manage to get footage? I was watching a video someone posted on Reddit around that time and there were these three lights moving in formation over the lake, no sound, no...

Did anyone else notice the missing time phenomenon happens more in rural areas than cities?
Honestly makes sense when you think about it - no streetlights, no CCTV, no one around to notice you've been standing in a field for three hours looking gormless.

Did anyone else see that MUFON report from Ohio last week? Sounds almost identical to my 2019 experience
Pulled up #127443 and the amber pulse interval is clocked at roughly 3-4 seconds which is suspiciously consistent across like six unrelated reports I've cross-referenced - almost like whatever's...

Heads up: site will be down for maintenance this Saturday night
Typical, I've got a clear sky forecast for Saturday night and a fresh SD card in the GoPro ready to finally catch something decent over the Tyne, and now the one place I'd want to post it...

My parents' house - 14 months of documented activity
The footsteps being on a schedule is the key thing to investigate. Document everything - weather, whether your parents slept well, what time the central heating cycled, whether there were storms,...

Best budget thermal camera setup for UAP work?
I've seen some secondhand FLIR units going but I'm worried about reliabilityFair shout, but honestly thermal cameras are pretty hardy. Just check the battery contacts aren't corroded.

Summer solstice at Stonehenge - worth the trip or tourist trap nightmare?
Last time I went it was absolute chaos and I got my wallet nicked. Would not recommend. Go in April.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] New forum rules: Evidence standards and photo submissions
The 'no editing' rule is sensible but a bit strict maybe? Sometimes you need to adjust levels to even see what's in a photo, especially if it was taken in poor light. Not everyone's a photographer.

MOD UFO files released last year - has anyone actually read them? Most of it is blacked out rubbish
The RAF Lossiemouth reference is interesting and I don't think it's widely known. There were a couple of reported incidents in the Moray Firth area in the late nineties that got a small amount of...
