Anyone else notice the weird FAA flight restrictions that keep popping up over western Nevada?

Mate the FAA TFRs over that stretch near Fallon have been absolutely ridiculous lately, like genuinely suspicious levels of "nothing to see here" energy coming off them. I track these on a couple of apps and there's been at least three in the last six weeks with zero explanation beyond the standard "military operations" catch-all which tells you precisely nothing.

The frustrating bit is nobody in mainstream aviation forums even blinks at it, they just accept it and move on. Meanwhile if you cross-reference the restriction zones with some of the recent sighting reports coming out of Lovelock area it gets a lot more interesting real fast.

Anyone actually living out that way noticed anything on the ground during these windows? Increased vehicle traffic, unusual aircraft noise, anything? Because that's the data we actually need, not just the airspace maps.

@klaus_green the Fallon area has always been dodgy, Naval Air Station right there plus whatever else they don't bother telling us about. But yeah the TFR clustering is worth mapping out properly - not just the individual restrictions but teh patterns over time, where they overlap, duration. I spent years teaching map work and the spatial analysis on these things tells you more than the official justifications ever do. Reminds me of the ley line work actually, people think its random until you start plotting it out and suddenly it really isn't.
