The thing I saw on the Scottish Highlands trail - still trying to make sense of it
About three weeks ago I was hiking in the Cairngorms with my brother, just a casual day walk up around Braemar way. Weather was decent - bit overcast but visibility was good.

Why do the dark nights bring out all the weirdness?
Could be selection bias mate. In summer you've got dog walkers, families out until 10pm, loads of witnesses about.

Large footprints found near Loch Katrine - November discovery
The Loch Katrine area is actually quite interesting for this stuff. There's been sporadic sightings reported in the Trossachs over the years.
