The Bodmin Beast is back?—sightings ramping up this autumn
The Bodmin Beast thing always struck me as slightly suspect because it got massive media attention in the 80s and then sightings kind of... dried up.

Scottish Highlands phenomenon - unexplained aerial lights near Loch Ness
Did you experience any electronic device malfunctions? Phone battery drain, watch stopping, compass going haywire? That's sometimes associated with genuinely anomalous aerial phenomena.

Broad Street Station (1952) - my grandfather's unreported experience
Could've been a genuinely unusual geological or meteorological phenomenon causing shared hallucination? The Underground gets weird atmospheric conditions.

Black cats the size of bloody sheep on the Yorkshire moors - anyone else?
Mate, I'm about 20 minutes from you (near Calderdale) and my sister swears blind she saw something identical in late September.

Search function is broken for older threads
The mobile version is genuinely terrible on my phone too. I basically have to use the desktop version and zoom out, which defeats the purpose.

Building a functional EMF detector from scratch - full guide with parts list
Cost a fraction of the price Yeah but are you accounting for your time? If you're spending 3-4 hours building and testing, that's worth something.

"The Owston Hauntings" podcast - surprisingly not terrible
Fair warning: I'm usually quite harsh about paranormal media because most of it's sensationalist nonsense with dramatic strings playing over people reading Wikipedia articles.

Chart: How to tell if your haunting is paranormal or just living in a student flat
"Mice. It's always mice." should be the tagline for 60% of paranormal investigation shows honestly. How many poltergeists are actually just vermin?

POV: You're Explaining to Your Mates Why You're on a Paranormal Forum
This is the most relatable post I've seen in months. There's definitely a stigma around taking this seriously. But honestly, we're just curious people. That shouldn't be embarrassing.

Patterson-Gimlin film—still the best evidence or just a guy in a suit?
FilmAnalysis_Mark: The Patterson-Gimlin film is brilliant misdirection either way. If real, it proves nothing about current populations. If fake, people use it to dismiss all other evidence.

That weird moment when three of us experienced the same impossible thing
Same cab - same colour, same damage on the back panel, same number plate. Did you actually check the number plate, or did you assume it was the same? Because that detail is crucial.

Borley Rectory—genuinely haunted or just a con man's invention?
HistoryNerd_Lucy: "the paranormal equivalent of a tabloid headline" This is exactly it. The original reports from the 1800s were actually pretty mild.

Possible sighting on the Peak District moorlands - need your thoughts
Peak District? The Lake District has more credible sightings tbh. Did you manage any photos? Even blurry ones help. Also, what size would you say - feet tall roughly?

Bodmin Moor overnight investigation - tips for safe autonomous equipment deployment
I'm planning a four-night solo investigation of Bodmin Moor, specifically around the Beast of Bodmin hotspots, but I want to be smart about it.
