yeah the water thing is interesting but also cuts both ways doesn't it - like all that ambient light could equally make a genuine craft harder to misidentify as something mundane.

The 'British big cat' phenomenon is real. Ministry of Defence has files on this. Cannock Chase, Scottish Highlands, Bodmin - all have active populations. Your sighting is important.
Cold spots in old buildings are usually just draughts though, aren't they? I'm not trying to be difficult, genuinely asking - how do you rule out the mundane explanation?
