Not Shrewsbury but I've had something similar out near the Trough of Bowland about three years back. Big black cat, way too large to be a domestic gone feral, moving along the treeline at dusk.
This is brilliant research, genuinely. Have you cross-referenced with the personnel reports? Several of the officers involved went on to have... unusual career trajectories.
Military exercises probably. RAF bases aren't far from Loch Ness area. They test jets and drones all the time. The electronic interference could've been from the military equipment itself.
I think the most honest answer is: we don't know for certain, but the probability it's a suit is higher than the probability it's an unknown primate species living undocumented in North America.
