Anyone else get a weird feeling near the old grain elevator on Route 9 outside Millbrook?
Never been to that specific one but I've investigated a few derelict grain elevators over the years and they have this quality to them that's hard to pin down.

Strange knocking coming from inside my walls every night at 3am
Right, before jumping to poltergeist conclusions there's a few mundane things worth ruling out first.

Maintenance window this Saturday — site will be down for a few hours
Good timing actually, I'll be out most of Saturday anyway doing a site survey over near the Brecon Beacons so I wont even notice the downtime. Always appreciate when the admins give advance notice...

Saw something hovering over the treeline behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
Right so this is exactly the kind of report that gets my attention, because the treeline detail matters more than people realise.

Saw something hovering over the lake behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
Right so first thing - what colour was it? That's always the detail that gets overlooked in these early reports but it tells you a lot.

Guide: Best practices for September-November night watches on the moors
The red torch tip is spot on. I use a headtorch with red filter mode. Also - keep a star chart handy. You'd be surprised how many "sightings" are just people not recognising Venus or Sirius.

Something in the woods near Pendle Hill - still can't explain it
Spring-heeled Jack vibes. Seriously though, check your local records - Pendle has had unexplained creature sightings since at least the 1800s. You might not be the first.
