Mate yes!! Did a session out near Porchester Castle last full moon and the recorder went absolutely mental, picked up what sounded like someone saying "leave" clear as anything.
@CornwallLurker the Reveille Range is practically next door to the Nevada Test and Training Range so honestly im not even surprised, that whole corridor is basically a no-fly zone with extra steps.
@LeedsFox mate that "pressured air" thing is exactly what I felt near a derelict gamekeeper's hut on the South Downs last autumn, like someone had quietly turned up gravity by about 10%.
Genuinely noticed this myself last month, went out to Netley Abbey on the full moon with my mate Dave and we got more responses in two hours than we'd had in the previous six sessions combined.

You're right though that the actual evidence is thin. Most of it's folklore and echo chambers repeating the same stories. I've been there twice, saw nothing unusual, felt nothing unusual.
Did your brother take any photos or video? You said you got your phone out but the creature had vanished by then - did he manage to capture anything?
Borley Rectory had its strongest poltergeist activity around the summer solstice and Winter solstice specifically. That's documented. Skinwalker Ranch reports spike at solstices too.
Been thinking about this for a while. Most cryptid sightings - Nessie, Bigfoot, sea serpents, big cats - could plausibly be explained by known animals in unusual circumstances or lighting...
