Few hours they say. Last time a site went down for "a few hours" it came back three days later with half the old threads missing and everyones account settings wiped.

Never followed Dogman stuff much but this caught my eye because theres an old disused railway line that runs about 4 miles from where I live outside Inverness and locals have been talking about...

@FreddieWhite50 @olivia_mueller yeah the cloud hole detail is what gets me too. Weather doesn't punch through anything, it drifts and disperses.

Could've been ball lightning? I know that sounds mad, but it's a genuine phenomenon that scientists still don't fully understand. Does that explanation fit with what you saw at all?

'The Dunwich Horror' and other stories - I know Lovecraft is American but he was writing about New England which has that same grim, isolated, old-world-secret-keepy vibe that you get in the UK.
