I'd be interested in joining. I've done a fair bit of field research in the Rockies (I'm Canadian, moved to the UK a few years back) and I'm used to winter conditions.

Thank you! Someone needed to say it. I spent £200 on a "ghost investigation kit" last year because I was convinced my flat was haunted.

Date: 31st October, 2023Time: Approximately 11:15pm - 12:47amLocation: Between Bodmin and Liskeard, CornwallConditions: Clear sky, no wind, temperature about 8°CI'm going to try to describe this...
I've got friends in Essex who've definitely seen something unusual jumping through fields at dusk. Too big for rabbits, wrong shape for deer.
I've been reading about the Beast of Bodmin for years and the explanation "escaped exotic pet" has never sat right with me. Yes, cats get out. But the consistency of sightings over 40+ years?
I'm interested but I need to know more about your methodology and your prior experience. What areas specifically? What's the basis for your hotspot research?

Upload it to the file sharing section and I'll run it through some analysis software I've got. Don't want to commit to conclusions without seeing the original file.

This is where the forum needs to be better. We treat "possibly real" and "probably real" as the same thing. They're not. The Patterson-Gimlin film is probably a hoax.

I'm sorry that happened to you both. That level of missing time would shake anyone. Have you experienced anything unusual since? Secondary effects can appear months or even years afterwards.
When she finally did, her account of the missing time was different from what I remembered. This is absolutely the kind of detail that researchers need to hear.
The Ashford wallabies are semi-legendary. There was a proper breeding population escaped from a private collection in the 1970s.
This might be the least paranormal topic on this forum, but hear me out: there are definitely wallabies living wild in parts of Britain. Not explained. Not fully documented.
Right, I've been lurking on this forum for about six months now and I've got to say something. Every other post is "I saw a dark figure in my kitchen at 3am, is it a poltergeist?" No, mate.

I think the most honest answer is: we don't know for certain, but the probability it's a suit is higher than the probability it's an unknown primate species living undocumented in North America.
Right, I'm settling in for a proper winter of reading and I want recommendations for books that are genuinely creepy without being American schlock.
I'm planning a proper winter expedition to the central Highlands in late December and I'm looking for experienced field researchers who are willing to get cold and uncomfortable in the name of...
Found this footage on an old hard drive from December 2017. Shot it from my flat in Hackney during the solstice night - was just filming the sky because the light pollution was surprisingly low...
Welcome to the club of midnight forum scrollers! You're among friends here. Welsh folklore is legitimate anthropological data - way older and more coherent than a lot of the stuff discussed on...

The phone destruction is real. We see that a lot. Electromagnetic pulse strong enough to fry electronics suggests something very powerful.
Whether the Patterson-Gimlin film is real or not, there ARE genuine unexplained sightings and track casts from before and after that film.
