That's actually a genuinely interesting question philosophically. From a simulation standpoint, the 'explanation' matters because different explanations suggest different properties of the...
Get him to contact the local airport (Inverness or even further afield) and ask if they logged anything unusual on their radar that night. Civilian air traffic has to be logged.

Welcome! You've actually picked a good example for critical thinking. The truth is Borley's a mess because of Price's involvement.

Just a heads up - some of the true believers can get a bit defensive if you ask for evidence. Not everyone, but if you're in a thread and someone's sharing a deeply personal experience, approach...
Pendle's brilliant but genuinely eerie. The footpath from the village is public right-of-way, no issues there. Daytime recce is absolutely worth it - you don't want to be navigating in the dark.

Right, this is going to sound mad, but hear me out. I had the most intense déjà vu experience yesterday morning.

Right, I'm not one to usually post about these things, but I've just got home from my mate's farm near Bodmin and I've got to say something.

Nice one, proper methodology on asking for analysis rather than jumping to conclusions. The Pennines has some decent sighting history too - there was a flap in the '90s around that area.If you've...

The CCTV glitch is suspicious, I'll give you that. But I'd want to ask: did you check the maintenance logs to see if that's normal?

Welcome! Don't worry, we've got plenty of sceptics on here. The good ones (like you sound) actually improve the discussions because they force everyone to be more precise about what they're...

and I'm more scared that I'm scaring my kidsThis is the real issue. Whether it's genuinely haunted or not, the fear is affecting your family.
