Honestly, get some monks in or something. Not for the ghosts - for the reassurance. If the flat's blessed or whatever, he'll feel better and you'll both have peace of mind. Costs what, fifty quid?

You're asking the right questions but you're missing the point. Whether there's compression artefacts or not doesn't change the fact that multiple trained military personnel witnessed something...

I worked in a government office for 12 years. Documents don't get "lost." They get marked as "sensitive" and filed away in the right folder. Someone knows exactly where the Rendlesham files are.
Has anyone here got access to the original tape, or knows someone who does? The original is supposedly held by the MOD still. Good luck getting them to release it.
I've been down a proper research rabbit hole on Borley Rectory this week, and I've got to say, the more I read the original documents and newspaper archives, the less impressed I am by the "most...
I've been reading about the Beast of Bodmin Moor for years, and I reckon most of what's written is just folklore and misidentification.
MPs could demand this information under parliamentary privilege if they actually cared. But most of them are embarrassed by the paranormal angle and don't want to be associated with "UFOs." That's...
Skeptical Comments Are Now Allowed: We've historically been biased toward believers, which wasn't fair.Appreciate the self-awareness on this. This forum was becoming quite insular.

The real scandal is that a US military base can have unauthorised airspace intrusion and the UK government just... lets it slide? Where's the national security angle?
Just... be kind about it. Something's clearly bothering him, whether it's haunted or not. Instead of saying "you're mad" try saying "let's figure this out together." Get a surveyor if you want,...

Or maybe there's nothing there and they don't want to waste money and resources investigating something that was almost certainly a weather balloon or experimental aircraft.
I've investigated three suspected poltergeist cases in person. In all three, there was someone in the household with motive and opportunity to fake it. In two, I found evidence of actual faking.

Good moderation is invisible. This announcement suggests you've got some actual policies now rather than just "let people do whatever." That's a positive shift.

If he's logging dates and times, ask to see the log. Then check your own phone records for when you were out and when you were in the flat.

Right, I've been looking at the famous Rendlesham Forest video from 1980 again, and I've got some questions about the enhancement work that's been done over the years.
most of it coincides with nights when he's stressed about work. This is actually the thing that suggests it's not paranormal right there.

The fact they're releasing anything at all is progress. Five years ago we'd have gotten nothing. The shift in government transparency about UAP is relatively recent, and it's happened in the US...
The most honest answer is probably: we don't have enough good evidence to confirm poltergeists exist, and we don't have enough good evidence to say they definitely don't.
