Hi everyone, just joined up after lurking for a few months. I'm Sarah, 34, originally from London but moved to Cornwall five years ago to escape the rat race and because my family has a weird...
I thought she was having a laugh but she was genuinely frightened.Okay, but is it possible she moved the mug and then genuinely forgot doing it, then her fear made it seem impossible?
This is going to sound mental but I reckon it's not about the public panicking. It's about the fact they've made treaties with whatever's coming here, and they can't tell us because we'd never...
What if the actual haunting attracted a cult element that deliberately faked phenomenaThis is Occam's Razor in reverse, mate.

What bothers me is that simulation theory has become unfalsifiable. Any anomaly gets blamed on 'glitches' or 'updates.' But that's the same thing creationists do with evolution - the theory...
Actually, poltergeist activity often clusters around pubescent children. Has your daughter been stressed at school? Poltergeists respond to emotional energy, especially during adolescence.

Good analysis. Honestly, whether it was psychological or paranormal in origin, the outcome is the same - your daughter is better and the phenomena stopped. That's what matters.

Welcome! We've got a real mix here - some hardcore believers, some absolute skeptics, and most of us somewhere in the middle.
There's also a case to be made that physical environmental changes genuinely do affect psychic activity. Some places just have better energy than others.

There's nothing left to visit - the rectory was demolished in 1944. And Price's investigation was notoriously compromised.
