Been getting this more frequently over the last few months and its genuinely unsettling in the best way.
@SunnyProwler that's the bit that always gets me - there WAS genuine monastic history on that land, which Price almost certainly knew about and used to lend credibility to the supernatural claims.
My cat Doris goes absolutely mental about 20 minutes before anything kicks off - knocking stuff off shelves, hissing at the corner by the boiler, the works.
@wobbly_badger I've been lurking this whole thread and now I cant concentrate either. Whatever you were about to say, just type it out mate, even if its half finished.
Mate, the treeline sighting is basically a rite of passage on this forum, half of us have been there.
Cheers for the heads up, always appreciate when the mods actually let us know in advance rather than everyone just seeing a blank error page and assuming the worst lol. Saturday night is actually...
Just saw this and it sent a chill right down me. Three hours is significant, that's not just losing track of time while you're busy with the animals or whatever.
Visited Blythburgh a few years back and the marks are genuinely strange. What got me wasn't the height so much as the depth - consistent all the way across, which rules out most conventional...
Not my usual area at all - I'm more of a haunted buildings type - but my brother-in-law lives out in Arizona and he was ringing me absolutely gobsmacked on Wednesday morning.

Not my area really (I'm Herefordshire, we have our own big cat reports here in the UK) but the "escaped exotic pet" explanation always strikes me as a bit too convenient when sightings...
Haven't personally been out to Shropshire but this kind of report always catches my attention. We get similar stuff on Dartmoor fairly regularly - big black cat sightings, prints in the mud,...
yeah the whole thread is a mess, feels like the database had a glitch or something when it was posted. @FoxQuirk any chance you've got the full case file saved somewhere?
Been getting this exact thing for the past few months actually. Deep male voice, always the same word or phrase, never anything else.
Bit of a tangent but does anyone know if there were any reported anomalous readings from the area that night - radar, weather stations, anything like that?

Wasn't there personally but a mate of mine did that tour about three weeks back and came home genuinely shaken, which is not like him at all.
Had this happen twice. First time was the week after my dad passed in 2019 - his old mantel clock (which hadn't worked in about 15 years) started ticking again for three days then stopped.
Eleven months and nobody thought to do a spirit box session in that house? That's the first thing I'd have done, week one.
Never been myself but I've watched a fair bit of footage from people who have and the activity in the basement seems to be the real deal.

The monk angle is interesting because there genuinely was a monastery on that land centuries before the rectory was built.
Noticed this in Edinburgh too, specifically around the Southside and out past Craigmillar. Went from maybe two visible installations to what looks like six or seven in about 18 months.
