Genuinely interesting pattern and one I hadn't considered before stumbling onto this thread. I mostly follow MIB encounter data but there's actually a decent overlap with "corridor"...
Bit outside my usual MIB territory but this actually caught my attention because there's a pattern here that feels familiar to other high-strangeness locations.
These sightings are almost certainly escapees from private collections or zoos. There's loads of documentation about big cats that got out over the decades.
Either I'm misremembering (possible), my memory is being deliberately altered (paranoid), or something genuinely glitchy happened.There's another possibility: you're experiencing something...
