That BBC interview about the Mandela Effect—completely missed the point
Mass false memory is actually really interesting though, and probably more likely than simulation glitches. Our brains are genuinely bad at accurate recall and susceptible to suggestion.

Cold spots in winter are nearly impossible to interpret because the whole environment is cold. In summer, a sudden 5-degree drop is obvious and interesting.
