What strikes me reading this is the crockery angle. In a lot of the cases I've read about, its always the kitchen that seems to be the focal point - plates, cups, things that are used daily.
The Flir One is genuinely class. Used it at a client's house in Penrith and found cold spots that corresponded exactly with where residents reported activity.
