Never been to that specific mill but old paper mills in general have a really strange atmosphere, something about the combination of industrial decay and water proximity I think.
@SalisburyMoth the logging approach is dead right, thats exactly what you need to establish any kind of baseline.
Right so this has been nagging at me for a while actually. I keep cross-referencing reported Dogman encounters on the BFRO adjacent databases (yeah I know, different creature, but the mapping...
@LindaApparition thermal expansion is the sensible first stop yeah. But if you've genuinely ruled that out and it's clustering around 3am specifically, that's worth tracking properly - dates,...
Right so this is actually more interesting than most of the "shadow figure" posts we get on here, mainly because you've got footage rather than just a description after the fact. Few...
@RetiredRetiredNurse458 fair point about the mundane explanations but what gets me is the compass wasn't just acting up for a second - it was spinning continuously for a sustained period, yeah?
Honestly makes sense when you think about it - no streetlights, no CCTV, no one around to notice you've been standing in a field for three hours looking gormless.
That kind of consistency across multiple nights is what separates it from a one-off brain glitch in my opinion. Once, maybe your mind's filling in gaps. Three nights in a row at the same spot?
not from Oklahoma myself but I've been tracking a few sightings from that region over the last couple of months and the timestamps are weirdly clustered around Tuesday evenings specifically.
Yeah this happens on my recordings pretty consistently actually. I've been messing around with EVP stuff for about a year and the static spike thing is almost like a warning that somethings...
@SortOfEcto yeah this is something I've noticed too, been doing EVP work down here in Cornwall for a couple years now and the static burst thing is pretty consistent.
Noticed this one and it's been bugging me. The speed of that closure is what gets me - like it was already prepared in advance rather than a reaction to something.
Yeah this happens to me more than I'd like to admit. Captured something last autumn out on the moors, sounded like a low hum when I first played it back on my recorder.
Saw it flagged up on one of the ADS-B trackers I follow. TFR over Dugway isn't exactly rare but this one had an odd radius and the timing was strange - went up with very little notice and lasted...
@ChirpyObserver mate the site goes down and suddenly the Mothman footage gets delayed - I'm starting to think the Mothman has admin access on this server.
QUIRK REPORTS — OFFICIAL CASE FILE Case Number: QR-2026-50309 STEPPED BACK IN TIME: TWO WOMEN VANISH INTO EDINBURGH'S LOST CENTURY Classification: Time Slip / Temporal Dislocation Event Date of...
@OccultEcto the Redruth comparison is interesting but Sauchie stands apart for me because of the specificity of the attachment to Virginia Campbell personally, not the location.
@RetiredRetiredNurse glad to have you joining the discussion, hope you stick around the forum - your EVP background from Northumberland sounds like it'd bring a really different angle to a lot of...
Right so I'm not a cryptozoology person usually but the track patterns people are describing keep nagging at me from a psychic angle - there's something about repeated sightings clustering in the...
Never noticed it with poltergeist stuff personally but I've definitely caught more interesting EVP during full moons, which is probably just confirmation bias but still makes you wonder if theres...
