Blimey, Oklahoma is a long way from Lincolnshire but this caught my eye straight away. What time was it roughly? And which direction was it heading when you lost sight of it?
Asking because I've been cross-referencing a few sightings from that week across different forums and there's a couple of other reports from the midwest that could tie in. Nothing confirmed yet but the timing is interesting.
The thing that always gets me with rural sightings is the lack of light pollution means people actually see things properly, no mistaking it for a plane or whatever. So if you saw something out there you probably really did see something.
Post as much detail as you can remember - shape, colour, any sound, how long you observed it for. Even stuff that seems minor can be useful when your comparing notes across multiple accounts.
