Right everyone, it's that time of year again. The winter solstice falls on December 21st this year, and as per the last five years, we're organising a coordinated multi-site investigation across the UK.

Last year's solstice event had participants at 23 different locations simultaneously. This year we're hoping to hit 30. The idea is simple: we investigate significant paranormal hotspots at the exact moment of solstice alignment and compare notes afterwards.

Historical data shows increased activity at astronomical significant dates. Last December's Stonehenge group reported three separate unexplained phenomena. The Bodmin group got significant EMF spikes. We want to expand that dataset this year.

How to sign up: Comment below with your location preference (we've got a list of approved sites ranging from Rendlesham Forest to Pendle Hill). You'll be assigned a team lead and given investigation protocols specific to your location. Everything you need is in the pinned resource guide.

Requirements: Minimum two people per team (safety), basic equipment (EMF meter at least), and reliable note-taking. No exceptions on the team rule - investigations alone are how people get hurt.

Sign-ups close December 1st. Let's make this year's data collection proper thorough.

I want to sign up for the Pendle Hill location, but I'm currently working weekends. Is there any flexibility on the exact date or does it have to be the solstice itself?

This is excellent. Last year's coordination led to some genuinely useful comparative analysis. Looking forward to this year's results.

Do we have insurance sorted for team members? Just asking because if something goes wrong and someone gets injured, we need to be covered. Don't want anyone getting sued.

I'm interested in Rendlesham Forest again - I was part of last year's team and we got some brilliant data. Also I know the access protocols really well at this point. Can I request that location?
