Types of Quirk Reports posters - which one are you?

Right, I've been lurking here long enough to notice some absolute patterns in poster behaviour. Thought I'd compile the definitive taxonomy of Quirk Reports members. See if you recognise yourself...

The Skeptic™ - Appears on every thread to explain that actually it's just (insert mundane explanation here). Has a degree in geology or physics. Never had an experience but is absolutely certain everyone else's are nonsense. Favourite word: "statistically".

The True Believer - Every single anomaly is a spirit/UFO/cryptid. Owns at least 3 books by Erich von Däniken. Has been visited by entities multiple times. Everyone else who hasn't experienced anything is just "not sensitive enough".

The Researcher - Actually knows the bibliography of paranormal investigation. Will cite Harry Price, Fortean Times, and obscure 1970s UFO reports. Respectful of both skepticism and belief. Probably has the most balanced takes.

The Joker - That's me. Here to make terrible puns about spectral activity and haunt-ing bad jokes. The balance to the true believers.

The Casual Poster - "Weird thing happened to me, no idea what it was, anyway." Just here for the entertainment value.

Who am I missing?

The Defensive Believer - "Oh you don't believe me? That's because you have a closed mind. I've got PROOF on my hard drive but it's too big to upload." Gets absolutely angry when questioned, insists they're being persecuted for their beliefs.

Lovely breakdown. I'm definitely the Researcher, which is probably why half the thread ignore my actually useful contributions and just want to either mock me or worship me as some kind of paranormal authority. There's no middle ground on this forum.

You forgot The Conspiracy Theorist - Genuinely believes every paranormal event is either government cover-up, military testing, or shadow government mind control. Sees patterns everywhere. Usually harmless but sometimes genuinely concerning.

I'm probably mostly The Casual Poster with bits of The Skeptic depending on how ridiculous the post is. Some of the stuff on here is entertaining, some of it is actually interesting. Most of it is probably just people misinterpreting normal stuff.

You've captured it perfectly. I'm absolutely The True Believer and I'm not even ashamed. Life's more interesting when you believe in the possibility of the extraordinary. All you skeptics are going to be very embarrassed when first contact happens.

The Internet Researcher - Spends 4 hours googling something after seeing it mentioned once on here, then returns with a Wikipedia link and acts like they've done serious investigative work. That's me and I know it.
