The Peterborough "saucer" video from last week - weather balloon or craft?

There's been a video circulating from a delivery driver in Peterborough (uploaded to YouTube by user "CamGuy2023") showing what appears to be a metallic disc-shaped object hovering stationary above the A1(M) near Junction 16 on 17 November around 14:30. The video's about 90 seconds long and shows the object clearly silhouetted against cloud cover.

Initial comments are split between "weather balloon," "drone," and "genuine UAP." I've done basic analysis:

Supporting genuine UAP:
- Object appears metallic and reflective
- Zero visible propellers or drone markers
- Stationary for full duration despite 20mph winds (visible from trees)
- No sound on video (though wind noise present, so sensitive audio)

Supporting mundane explanation:
- Could be reflective balloon
- Video quality doesn't resolve fine detail
- Peterborough near RAF Wittering (military activity common)

What's the forum consensus? Any experts able to do more rigorous analysis?

The stationary positioning despite wind is genuinely interesting. Most weather balloons drift noticeably, and the metadata shows no sudden edits. Have you checked if there's military activity that day? RAF Wittering logs are sometimes released under FOIA.

Could you upload the raw file (not YouTube compression) if the uploader has it? YouTube's codec destroys detail and makes analysis almost impossible. Without uncompressed footage, honestly, could be anything reflective. Could be the sun reflecting off a car windscreen from a weird angle.

Zero visible propellers or drone markers
Modern drones at distance look invisible for propellers anyway - the blades are tiny relative to the distance. And a reflective commercial drone would show exactly this. Not saying it IS a drone, just that absence of visible propellers isn't evidence either way.

I live near Peterborough and saw something similar about two weeks before that video. Reported it to the RAF who basically said "probably Wittering traffic." But I know what helicopters look like and this wasn't that. Anyway, the point is there's activity in that area. Whether it's ours or theirs or weather balloons, something's happening.

The wind data is the key metric here. If trees are moving visibly but the object isn't, that rules out balloons and natural drift. Where's the weather data from that location that day? Someone in Peterborough could check historical wind records for 17 Nov 14:30.

Classic inconclusive footage. Probably genuine curiosity (as opposed to deliberate hoax), but doesn't resolve the question either way. Worth filing in the "genuinely unexplained" category but not "proof of alien contact." Still, the stationary positioning IS unusual.
