Posted this late because honestly I didn't know where else to put it and I'm still a bit shaken up.

Halloween night, around 11:15pm, my mate Trevor and I were driving back from a pub near Bodmin after a few pints. Trevor was driving (he'd stuck to cider, don't worry). We were on the B3212 heading toward Liskeard when we both saw these lights hovering above the moorland to our right. Not a helicopter - we both know what those look like. These were stationary, maybe four or five of them, arranged in a loose circle, and they were pulsing. Orange-ish colour. No sound whatsoever.

We pulled over to get a better look and I managed to take some photos on my mobile. They're not great, to be honest (was shaking quite a bit and the light was rubbish), but they're definitely something odd. As soon as we got the phone out, the lights just... vanished. Literally switched off like someone flicked a switch. Took us about 30 seconds to process what happened.

Trevor keeps saying it was a drone or Chinese lanterns, but I've never seen either behave like that. Has anyone else had a sighting near Bodmin in recent months?

Please upload the photos to the sightings database, mate. We need evidence. Also - were there any electrical issues with the car after? Sometimes encounters like that can cause interference with the engine or battery. Worth checking?

This is classic. Whatever it is, it knows when you're trying to document it. Same thing happened to a mate of mine near the Glastonbury Tor back in 2019. He got the camcorder rolling and it all switched off immediately. They're definitely intelligent.

Bodmin's a hotspot for unexplained activity. The Bodmin Beasts sightings go back decades, and there's been consistent UAP reports in that area for years. This doesn't surprise me at all. The photos might not be clear, but the fact you've got two independent witnesses is solid. Have you reported it to NUFORC or the Quirk database yet?

Could've been the lights from Davidstow Airfield? It's not far from there. Though the timings don't quite match with normal air traffic patterns... Still worth checking though.

Cheers for posting this. The Halloween timing is interesting - always more activity around liminal periods. Would love to hear what Trevor makes of this in a few weeks when he's had time to think about it. Sometimes skepticism wears off.
