Right so what exactly did you see? Size, movement, any sound? That's where I'd start before drawing any conclusions.
Seen a few threads like this go sideways because people skip the basics. Not saying you're wrong, just that the details matter a lot here. A coyote moving strangely in low light can look absolutely nothing like a coyote, trust me on that.
Glasgow's not exactly cryptid central but I've had my own weird experiences in woodland at dusk and the brain does fill in gaps. Doesn't mean what you saw wasn't genuinely unusual though.
If you can get back out there with a decent torch and a camera, even just your mobile, do it. Same time, same conditions if possible. Whatever it is it'll likely stick to a pattern if its territorial.
Genuinely curious - was the movement bipedal at any point? That's the detail that would change how I'm reading this.
