Something followed me home from Bodmin Moor - still not sure what it was

Right, this has been bugging me for weeks so I thought I'd finally post about it. Last month (27th October, around 9:30 PM) I was driving back from a mate's cottage near Bodmin after a terrible pub dinner. Weather was misty, visibility absolutely shocking.

About halfway down the B3206, my car started playing up - radio cutting in and out, temperature gauge going mental. I pulled over to check things were alright and that's when I noticed this... shape in the mist behind the car. Couldn't make out details, but it was definitely there. Moving. I got back in the car and drove faster, kept checking the mirror and it seemed to be keeping pace.

Most rational explanation is it was another car, but the thing is - there were no headlights. Just this dark silhouette. Mate thinks I imagined it, but I'm not the type. Has anyone else had dodgy experiences on Bodmin? Particularly interested in whether others have had the car issues.

Classic EME encounter mate - electromagnetic effects on vehicles are well documented. I had something similar on the A30 near Okehampton three years back. Lights went completely haywire. Try checking your car's electrics haven't actually been damaged, sometimes these things can cause physical wear.

Bodmin's got a right reputation hasn't it. The Beast of Bodmin was probably nonsense but there's definitely something odd about that area. Have you considered it might've been the infamous black cat sightings? They've been reported along that road before.

Could've been a lorry without its lights on, happens more often than you'd think on B-roads at night. Drivers fall asleep or forget to turn them on. Not everything paranormal, yeah? Sometimes a dark shape is just a tired HGV driver.

I live near there and honestly the mist can play tricks on you. However, the radio/temp gauge issue is interesting. Did you get it checked out afterwards? That would give us something concrete to work with rather than speculation.

This is brilliant. Proper creepy stuff. Please tell me you've got dashcam footage? Even if it doesn't show much, could be useful. Also - did you feel any sense of... wrongness? Temperature drop inside the car? Those details matter for cataloguing the encounter properly.
