Me and my mate Dave were driving back from the pub around 23:45 on Friday night (22nd November, so last week) when the sky just... lit up. Not like lightning - this was a sustained greenish glow directly overhead, completely silent. We pulled over near the A30, got out, and watched it for what must've been three minutes. It moved in these jerky, stop-start patterns that no conventional aircraft does.
Weather was clear, no clouds, maybe -2°C. I had my phone out but my hands were shaking too much to get steady footage. Dave swears he saw smaller lights detaching from the main object, but I'm less certain about that bit. The whole thing just... switched off. Like someone flicked a light switch. Absolute silence before and after.
I know Bodmin gets a lot of attention because of the Beast and the whole reputation, but this felt genuinely odd. Anyone else in Cornwall see anything that night?
