Living near Stonehenge and the surrounding fields, I've had a few odd experiences myself so I know that feeling of not being able to switch your brain off after something like that.
What kind of height was it at roughly? And was it completely silent or was there any kind of hum or sound at all? Those two details tend to matter a lot when people are trying to work out what they actually saw.
Also curious whether it was moving slowly or just holding position. Theres a big difference between something drifting and something that just sits there, because the sitting there bit is what really rules out most conventional explanations.
Would be good if you could describe the shape too if you got a decent look at it. A lot of people dismiss these things as drones these days but drones at night have specific light patterns and honestly they dont hover the same way people describe these objects hovering.
