Right so this is exactly the kind of report I live for on this site. Cornfields are genuinely one of the more interesting hotspots for this stuff, theres something about the electromagnetic properties of large agricultural areas that keeps coming up in the literature.
What height was it hovering at roughly? And did you get any sense of sound, like a hum or was it completely silent? Those two details alone usually narrow things down a fair bit.
Also - and this is the detail most people forget to mention - did time feel weird at any point? Like did you look at your phone after and realise more time had passed than made sense? That's the thing I always ask first because it filters out about 80% of drone sightings instantly. Drones don't eat your time.
