Rendlesham Forest November—something happened that I still can't explain

I've been sitting on this for weeks and finally thought I should write it down properly. November 11th, around 10pm, I was out walking my dog near Rendlesham Forest (I live nearby) when the whole area just... changed. The air felt different - cold, but not normal cold. Electric, almost. My dog went absolutely mental, wouldn't move forward, kept pulling back.

I saw a strange light between the trees - not quite white, more like a silvery-blue colour. It wasn't moving, just stationary about forty metres away. I couldn't see the source, just the glow. I stood there for what I reckon was about five minutes, but my phone died immediately when I tried to check the time, so I'm not certain. When I finally moved away, the light just faded.

I'm not making grand claims about aliens or anything. But something was different about that place at that time, and I've been walking those woods for ten years without experiencing anything like it. Has anyone else been out there recently?

Rendlesham's got that history, hasn't it? The military incident from 1980 and all that. I'm not saying the place is cursed or anything, but there does seem to be a concentration of reports from that area. You're definitely not the first person to describe that electric feeling. Dogs reacting badly is interesting too - they pick up on things we don't. Worth logging the exact location and checking if there's EM interference from power lines or something mundane.

Classic UAP encounter marker - electromagnetic effects shutting down electronics. Not proof of anything, but it's part of the pattern reported hundreds of times over. I'd genuinely be curious if you went back with a proper EMF meter and took readings. You might find unusual levels of electromagnetic activity in that spot.

Could've been a military exercise - the area's used for training sometimes. But that doesn't really explain the dog's reaction or the phone dying. If you want to investigate properly, there's a group that does regular Rendlesham walks. They're not conspiracy theorists, just interested in the history. Might be worth joining one and comparing notes.

That's genuinely unsettling, especially with your dog reacting like that. Animals are sensitive to things we're not always aware of. Honestly, the phone dying is the least explainable part - could be coincidence, could be something else. Would go back if I were you, maybe in daylight first, get a feel for the place. And yeah, bring an EMF meter.

Rendlesham Forest is a magnet for reports and also a magnet for people looking for reports, if you know what I mean. Not saying you're lying, but that place has such a reputation that anyone with an unusual experience assumes it's paranormal. Could you describe the light in more detail? Was it solid, glowing, pulsing?
