I've been meaning to post about this for a while and the timing feels relevant now that we're approaching the solstice again.

For the past three years, I've had recurring contact-type experiences (always dreams, or at least I think they're dreams) that intensify around the winter solstice period. Same theme every year: I'm in some kind of facility or space that's not quite indoors and not quite outdoors. There are entities present - tall, thin, greyish, classic "grey alien" appearance. They're not hostile but they're not friendly either. They seem curious about me, specifically about my hands.

Every time, they examine my hands very carefully. Checking my palms, my fingers, running something over my skin that feels like a light touch but leaves a kind of electrical sensation. Then I wake up and the sensation lingers for a few minutes.

The dreams are vivid and consistent. Same location, same entities, same procedure. They happen multiple times during the solstice period (usually between December 15th and January 5th), then they stop completely. Nothing for months. Then they start again in December.

I'm not claiming this is definitely alien contact - could be psychological, could be something else. But the consistency is eerie. The seasonality especially. Why would my subconscious dream about aliens specifically during the solstice period? What's special about that time?

Anyone else experiencing something similar? Or has anyone got theories about the solstice connection?

The solstice connection is interesting. Several researchers have theorized that astronomical events create changes in consciousness or reality perception. Maybe something about the sun's angle, the Earth's magnetic field, something else entirely. But the solstices definitely seem to be active periods for paranormal and UFO phenomena.

Hand examinations specifically are a common detail in abduction narratives. Palm reading, skin samples, checking for something in the bloodstream. The fact you're experiencing this consistently during the same season suggests this might not be random psychology. You might actually be receiving contact. That's both fascinating and terrifying, if true.

greyish, classic "grey alien" appearance

Are they exactly matching pop culture depictions of greys, or are they slightly different? This matters. If they're exactly like what you've seen in films or online, there's a chance your imagination's drawing from media influence. But if there are distinctive details that don't match standard media portrayals, that suggests genuine contact rather than dream construction.

Keep a dream journal. Record everything about these experiences right after they happen - exact time you woke up, what you remember, physical sensations, everything. Over three years, that's a lot of data. If you're genuinely being contacted, the patterns might become clearer with proper documentation.

Sleep paralysis with hallucinations is also worth ruling out. The electrical sensation you describe is consistent with SP episodes. But the seasonal consistency and the contact element suggest something else might be happening. Either way, documenting it is the first step.
