Alright, I'm properly chuffed to find this forum. I've been interested in paranormal stuff for years but mostly kept it quiet because, well, people judge. Had a strange experience about five years back that I've never really talked about, and discovering this place is actually quite validating.

Without going into full detail yet (don't want to spam the introductions), I saw something on the Scottish Highlands that I still can't explain. Been researching ever since, though mostly alone. Figured it was time to actually engage with people who take this seriously without being dismissive.

Few questions: Are there particular forums I should check first? Is there an introduction protocol or should I just start posting? Also, any Quirk Reports regulars in Scotland? Would be interesting to chat with locals.

Looking forward to getting involved!

Welcome aboard! No specific protocol, just dive in. Check the FAQ section first to familiarize yourself with how analysis threads work (helps if you want to post evidence). There's definitely Scottish members - we're international but UK-heavy. Look forward to hearing about your Highlands experience when you're ready to share.

Great to have another member. Quick heads up: some forums can be a bit intense with the skeptics vs believers thing. Don't take it personally - it's just how the community debates. Some of our best insights come from that friction. That said, it's generally respectful.

Scottish Highlands? Mate, there's some proper documented activity up there. Skinwalker Ranch gets all the attention but the Highlands have their own thing. Definitely worth posting your experience in the Personal Encounters forum. People will have genuine interest.

Your five-year experience is exactly the kind of thing we love to discuss. When you post it, try to include: date, time, location, weather, any witnesses, and what exactly you observed. More detail = better analysis and less people asking a million follow-up questions.

Welcome! Don't worry about judgment here. One of the best things about Quirk Reports is that people actually take the subject seriously. You'll find your people. 👍
