Right, read through the new guidelines and most of it makes sense. The bit about requiring GPS coordinates for outdoor locations is a good shout actually - saves everyone arguing about whether a sighting was near the old mill or the new estate.
My only gripe is the mandatory photo/audio evidence requirement for "Class A" submissions. Some of the best EVP sessions I've done in Salisbury have been where my recorder packed in halfway through and I still captured something worth discussing. Feels like it'll just shut out genuine experiences because someone didn't have the right kit on the night.
Would be good to hear what others think about that part specifically. Are we gatekeeping too hard now or is this overdue? I've seen some absolute rubbish posted on here over the years so part of me gets it, but still.
Anyone else from the ghost hunting side of things got thoughts on how this affects EVP submissions in particular?
